Tuscola CUSD #301 News
January 25, 2021
I am writing this letter today to let you know there is an individual at TCHS that has tested positive. The Douglas County Health Department and TCHS will contact you if your child is considered a close contact. Please continue to monitor your child’s health and keep them home if they develop symptoms. If your child has had close contact with a known case of COVID-19, keep the child at home and notify your primary healthcare provider, Tuscola Community Unit School District 301, and the Douglas County Health Department.
I want to take some time to thank our secretaries at each school. COVID has added to their workload during this school year. They have done a great job of keeping organized records and working with the principals and staff to keep everyone moving forward. We appreciate everything they do. Their efforts to make this school year successful have been outstanding.
Thank you, Rhonda McCumber, Mindy Fowler, Jerri Quinn, Sara Brandenburg, and Terra Waldrop. We also have staff members who help with our offices from time to time. We would also like to thank Kim Beachy, Katherine Burlew, and Tammy Martin for their work in our school offices. When you call or come into the school, please tell them how much you appreciate their efforts. This school year would not be as successful without them
Sincerely,
Gary Alexander
