Registration for ALL STUDENTS will be at each building on:
Monday, August 8 - 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM
June 1- July 31 You may also login to TeacherEase and update your registration information using the online form. Please note the fees can be paid online using a credit card or in person by bringing a check to your child's school office.
Paying online for any fees will be possible, but please note a convenience fee of $5.00 per school will be added to your account to help cover the costs in having this feature available.
Payment of fees are due at the time of registration. All checks should be payable to Tuscola Comm. Unit Dist. #301. Parents should also come prepared to complete emergency information sheets on each child including emergency phone numbers. Student social security numbers will be needed, especially for high school students.
Schools will open on Thursday, August 18, 2016 at 8:00 AM for all students. This year the students will be attending until 2:00pm. All students entering kindergarten must be five years of age on or before September 1, 2016.
All students entering kindergarten, 6th grade, and 9th grade must have a physical exam performed by a licensed physician along with all required shots. Failure to comply with this State Law by September 9, 2016 will cause a student to be excluded from school as required by State law.
The school lunch program will begin Thursday, August 18th. Lunches for students in grades kindergarten through four will be $2.55 per day and $2.65 for those in grades five through twelve. Breakfast will again be offered at East Prairie and North Ward Elementary. The cost will be $1.50. A special milk program is available for students in kindergarten through 4th grade for a fee of $63.00 per year.
To help defray the cost of textbooks and lab supplies, it is necessary for the district to establish registration fees. The 2016-2017 fees are:
Athletic Fees: There is an athletic fee for those students choosing to participate in interscholastic athletics at TCHS or East Prairie. Fees are $25 per student per sport to a maximum of $150 per family. Boys’ football fee is $40. Fall sports are payable at registration; winter and spring sports are payable at a later announced date. Football, golf, volleyball, and X-country practice will begin Wednesday, August 10, 2016. NO ATHLETE MAY PRACTICE WITHOUT PAYMENT OF ATHLETIC FEES AND A CURRENT PHYSICAL EXAMINATION ON FILE WITH THE SCHOOL. Game admission prices are $4.00 for adults and $3.00 for students including in-season athletes.

Student Accident Insurance Provided
The registration of your student will include coverage by Student Accident Insurance. All students in the District will be covered by a supplemental accident policy to a maximum benefit of $5 million. This program will cover eligible costs after your family’s primary insurance has paid all it will pay. The underwriter is 1st Agency and the local representative is the Hillard Agency. There is no additional charge for this coverage, and we no longer offer voluntary accident insurance. Only accidental injuries occurring during school time or while the student is a participant in a school activity are covered by this accident policy. Please remember, only accidents are covered, and it is supplemental (secondary) to your own health insurance.
