Shelter Insurance Foundation Scholarship Program: Shelter Insurance will be providing a $2,000 scholarship to a graduating senior from Tuscola on the basis of scholastic achievement, participation and leadership in school and community activities, citizenship and moral character, and educational goals. Applications are available on Mr. Bozarth's webpage at http://tuscolaguidance.weebly.com/scholarships.html and are due back to Mr. Bozarth by

March 29th, 2019

 

Springfield Diocesan Council of Catholic Women: Four scholarships in the amount of $500 will be awarded to four outstanding Catholic Senior Girls. Applications are available in the core and are due March 30th, 2019.  

 

Illinois Science of Professional Engineers: The Champaign chapter is offering a $1,000 scholarship to seniors with a 3.0 GPA and minimum 1100 SAT. Students must be enrolled in an engineering program and must be from Champaign, Vermillion, Edgar, Douglas, Coles, or Ford County.  Applications are available in the Core and are due March 30th, 2019.  

 

TCHS Alumni Scholarship: This annual scholarship is for seniors graduating from Tuscola whose sibling, parent, or grandparent is also a graduate of TCHS. Applications are available in the Core and are due April 1st, 2019.

 

Douglas County Republican Women and Douglas County Central Committee- Two $500 scholarships will be awarded to two seniors living in Douglas County. All seniors are eligible to apply. Applications are available in the Core and are due April 7th, 2019.  

 

Tommy K. Martin Memorial Scholarship: This local scholarship is available to seniors who plan to go into a law enforcement/criminal justice related field. Applications are available in the Core and are due April 12th, 2019

 

Tuscola Educational Foundation Fund: Two $500 scholarships will be awarded to seniors planning to major in the field of Agriculture at a two or four year university. Applicant's academic success, financial need, character, leadership, and values will be taken into consideration. Applications are available in the Core and are due April 12th, 2019.

 

Tuscola Kiwanis: Kiwanis is once again offering scholarships to graduating seniors of TCHS. Applications are available in the Core and are due April 12th, 2019.

 

Joint Local Scholarship Application: This is the one application that seniors at TCHS need to make sure they fill out!! The Joint Local App makes you eligible for 10-15 different local scholarships available each year. The scholarships all have different criteria, but this one app allows you to be considered. Applications are available in the Core and are due

April 12th, 2019.  

 

Sarah Bush Lincoln Scholarships: The Sarah Bush Lincoln Health System Guild Scholarship Committee will be giving out 3 scholarships (Guild Scholarship, Dr. C.D. Swickard Scholarship, and Vasudeo Shripad Joag Scholarship) to students pursuing a career in a health related field. Applications are available in the Core and are due April 15th, 2019.  





Tuscola PowWows Scholarship: Tuscola PowWows will be presenting 2 one-year non-renewable scholarships to one male and one female who have participated in athletics during high school at TCHS. Applicants must be seniors with a parent, grandparent, or legal guardian who are a PowWows member as of December 31st of the current school year. Applications are in the Core and are due April 17th, 2019.  

 

FCCLA Scholarship: All senior members of the Tuscola Chapter of FCCLA who are planning to attend an accredited four-year university, or a two-year community college, or a trade/vocational school are invited to apply. Applications are in the Core and are due April 19th, 2019.

 

Georgine McDonald Trust Scholarship: This local scholarship is for Tuscola graduates who must have a 2.5 GPA and be entering the field of fine or liberal arts, medicine, law, or agriculture. Applications are available in the Core and are due April 19th, 2019.

Cletcher-Wessale Scholarship: This local scholarship is for Tuscola graduates who must be pursuing a college graduate school or medical school education in the area of medicine, including training as a physician, or within a related healthcare field. Applications are available in the Core and are due April 19th, 2019.

 

Tuscola Moose Family Center: The Tuscola Women of the Moose will be offering 2 scholarships this year in the amount of $500 each. Applicants must be seniors with a parent, grandparent, or legal guardian who is a Lodge 729 or Chapter 1011 member. Applications are available in the Core and are due April 19th, 2019.

 

Jennifer Sinclair Arnold Smith Memorial Scholarship- This scholarship is for $750 and is given to a student attending Parkland College. It is based on financial need and 'living legendary." Apps are available in the Core and are due April 22nd, 2019

 

Douglas County Republican Party Central Committee: The Republican Party Central Committee will be presenting a $500 scholarship to a graduating senior in Douglas County. Applications are available in the Core and are due April 22nd, 2019.

 

Douglas County Bar Association: The Douglas County Bar Association will be presenting a $500 scholarship to a Douglas County senior who has financial need and is of high character. Applications are available in the Core and are due April 22nd, 2019.

Tuscola Rotary Club Scholarship: This annual scholarship is available to Tuscola seniors and awarded in the amount of $2,000. Applications are available in the Core and are due

April 25th, 2019

 

National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors: The NAIFA of East Central Illinois is offering two $500 scholarships called the Paul Brumaghim Memorial Scholarships. Applicants must be planning to major in Insurance, Finance, Business, or some other field related to the financial services. Applications are available in the core and are due April 30th, 2019.




Tuscola Education Association: The Tuscola Education Association will again be awarding scholarships to deserving TCHS seniors. Applicants who are eligible would be those who plan to major in education or those who show high potential, dependability, citizenship, and/or need. Applications are available in the Core and are due April 30th, 2019.

 

Tuscola Masonic Lodge: This local scholarship is available to seniors in the top 40% of class rank. Applications are available in the Core and are due May 1st, 2018.

 

Arcola Foundation Gwen Marie Boyd Memorial Fund Scholarship: This scholarship is for area seniors and is based on financial need. Applications are available in the Core and are due

June 1st, 2019.

The locker rooms will be open during the last 10 minutes of lunch for spring sport athletes to dress for games and meets after school.  You will not be allowed out of study hall or other classes in the afternoon to change. Please plan accordingly.

 

To purchase a 2018-19 yearbook, you may order online on the district website or turn in your payment of $40 to Mrs. Hoel.  You must pre-order to guarantee yourself a yearbook

All seniors please stop by the HS office to pick up fundraiser forms. Orders are due back by March 21. Please contact Kristi Heath with any questions.

Sophomores: Remember to bring your $25 class donation for a chance to win a

$50 Amazon gift card! Money must be brought in to the office or dropped off

a TNB by April 17th!

 

Seniors,

As the end of the school year approaches, we are all making plans for after graduation. To celebrate, one of the boards outside of Mr. Bozarth's office will be decorated as a map to show where we are all going! Please email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. with your plans after graduation (where you are going, what you are majoring in, and a picture of you) by May 1st. The board will be decorated with our future! The sooner you send in this information, the longer you will be on the board!
