Scholarships:        

            Tuscola Education Association: The Tuscola Education Association will again be awarding scholarships to deserving TCHS seniors. Applicants who are eligible would be those who plan to major in education or those who show high potential, dependability, citizenship, and/or need. Applications are available in the Core and are   due May 1st, 2017.

            Be Brave: The Be Brave for Petey Organization is again offering scholarships to graduating seniors in the area. Applicants are asked to write about an incident where they have resisted the temptation to use  substances or   about a time that they've helped a friend who is struggling with substance abuse. Applications are available online at http://www.bebraveforpetey.com/services.html and are due May 1st, 2017.

            ►Tuscola Masonic Lodge: This local scholarship is available to seniors with a 3.0 GPA. Applications are available in the Core and are due May 1st, 2017.

            Dr. Dana Mattix Memorial Scholarship: This scholarship is to aid students with college expenses who are  majoring in the healthcare field. Applications are available in the Core and are due May 1st, 2017.

            ►Aspiring Fashion Professional Scholarship- This is a $1,000 scholarship that will be awarded to students that are interested in pursuing a fashion degree at an accredited post-secondary school or college.  Interested students can visit this link www.fashion-schools.org and find the scholarship located at the bottom of the page      and click on it. Apps due June 1st, 2017.

            ►Aspiring Animation Professional Scholarship- This is the 5th year we are awarding this scholarship for AnimationCareerReview.com. We are offering high school seniors the opportunity to win a $1,000 scholarship.  This will be awarded to students that are interested in pursuing an animation career path at an accredited post- secondary school or college. Interested students can visit our website, http://www.animationcareerreview.com/  to find eligibility information along with the online application. Apps due June 1st, 2017.

            ►Aspiring Business Professional Scholarship-This is a $1,000 scholarship that will be awarded to students that   are interested in pursuing a business degree at any accredited post-secondary school or college.  Interested  students can visit this link http://www.onlinembareport.com/. Apps due June 1st, 2017.

Congratulations to Calleigh Miller who was named Rotary SOM for May!

If you want to be guaranteed a 2016-17 yearbook, you need to bring $40 (checks made out to TCHS) to Mrs. Hoel to place your order or order online on the district's website.

FFA members attending state Livestock judging, please stop by Mrs. Morris's room before lunch TODAY.

Seniors who would like to walk in during prom coronation need to sign up in the office by TODAY.

FCCLA officer candidate interviews will be held TODAY during the lunch period. 

Girls track, JV and Varsity softball needs to make sure they have their uniforms ready for group pictures on TODAY during activity period.

Any senior that ordered graduation announcements from Herff Jones, delivery will be here at the HS TODAY at 11:45 am. Also, You will be receiving your cap and gowns also today

Seniors - pictures for the senior DVD are due to Mrs. Hanner by Friday, April 28th.  The money to order a senior DVD is also due on April 28th. 

Anyone interested in displaying their art in The End of the Year Art Show needs to drop off their artwork to Ms. Adams by this Friday, April 28th.  The Art show will up during the first week of May. 

All Student Council Posters need to be picked up in Mrs. Rominger’s room by the end of the day Friday, April 28. 

Girls planning to play Basketball, there is a meeting Sunday, April 30th in the library at 7pm.  Parents are welcome to attend

All library books are due Friday, May 5, unless they are needed for classwork.

Any student that is interested in summer work for the School District, applications are in the office.
